How to produce the Cross Hairline surface

The surface finishes are Cross Hairline with different PVD colors as Silver, Bronze, Brass, Gold, Brown, Black, Nickel Silver, Gold Rose, and SS black.They are usually used into the interior decoration such as the wall and table panels. And we can make this surface of the material of stainless steel sheets 304, 316 and 201, etc.

The Cross Hairline finish was developed by our engineer of SUNSONG about two years ago. Then this artwork comes to be more and more popular till now. Because we have more than 10 years to do the Hairline surface finish, which is a traditional artwork on the surface of stainless steel sheets. Because this artwork is just for the interior and outside decoration, such as the wall cladding, Room divider, interior wall, table, kitchen supplies and so on, we usually use the 304 stainless steel sheets within the range of thickness from 0.7mm to 3.0mm.

      Later, some customers asked for new design which should be looked nice and luxury but not so expensive. In that time, most clients saw the hairline was the cheap surface. Our engineers have developed a new type machine, we firstly do hairline in vertical direction, and then in crosswise direction, and make the two hairline show 90 degree angle. After many many times test, the final effect was nice, we called it as Cross Hairline.

     Last year, we developed again more Cross Hairline types, such as both oblique directions hairlines (as the photos). Now, we can also do any direction hairline finish and no need to keep them with 90 degree angles, any degrees are ok.
